Samsung S21 256GB

Description

Samsung S21

The Samsung S21 is Samsung’s latest lineup which surprisingly comes with a lower spec compared to the S20. The main reason for this was to lower the price of the phone to pull in more users. Despite that, Samsung S21 is still a powerful device and it can be yours without needing to fork out a ton of cash.

Samsung S21 Singapore Reviews

The Samsung S21 is Samsung’s approach in rebalancing its device in terms of price, spec, features, and design. The first thing the phone brings to the table is its design. The two-tone and the camera ridge on the phone give it a modern industrial look which no other phone has. However, the entry-level Samsung S21 comes with a polycarbonate back, in simple terms, it’s plastic.

On the front, you will get a similar punch hole style display that Samsung advertised as the Infinity-O display that comes in 6.2 inches. To compliment the price drop, Samsung S21’s display is a slight drop compared to the S20. The new device comes with a Full HD resolution while other flagship S series come in QHD display. Truthfully, however, this display drop is mostly negligible since most people tend to use their phones at FHD to preserve battery. There’s also a feature called “Adaptive Screen Refresh” which adaptively adjust your display refresh rate between 40hz to 120hz depending on what you are doing. This means if you are playing games like Call of Duty or Mobile Legends, your Samsung S21 will automagically bump the refresh rate to as high as possible. Otherwise, the phone will display a lower refresh rate to preserve the battery.

Under the hood, you will find an Exynos 2100 chipset. In the past, Samsung phones with Exynos chipsets tend to lag behind the ones with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. But the gap has gone narrower in this new generation chipset. The S21 also comes together with an 8GB RAM, while the Plus comes in 12GB and the Ultra in 16GB. Alongside the 8GB RAM, you also get a 256GB storage space. Again, to complement the price drop, Samsung decided to remove the expandable storage option.

Cameras in this year’s new S21 are practically similar to that of S20 but with better software tweaks and a slimmer camera module. The S21’s camera array consist of a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 64MP telephoto capable of a 3x hybrid optical zoom aka 30x SpaceZoom.
