Swift X models with heavier screens put more load on the hinge barrels and develop droop earlier than the lighter Swift 3.

Acer Nitro 5 & Predator Helios

Gaming lids are heavier and the hinges are spec’d for it, but aggressive lid-opening and transport vibration strips mounting screws over time on the Nitro 5. Predator Helios models use more robust chassis but we see hinge cover cracking on older Helios 300 units. Both lines benefit from a mount inspection alongside the hinge replacement.
